The Normality of the Unseen
The Normality of the Unseen
The Normality of the Unseen is an ongoing series of video compositions that examines the hidden forces shaping contemporary human life. Through minimal actions, symbolic imagery, and sharply constructed visual situations, the project explores how labor, moral perception, and technological dependence quietly reorganize human existence. Rather than offering direct narratives, the work reveals how invisible structures of control, adaptation, and social conditioning become normalized through routine, gradually producing patterns of compliance, dependence, and narrowed awareness that are absorbed as natural, right, or even desirable, while their deeper consequences remain unseen. Across the series, the body appears both as witness and as instrument, revealing how everyday normality can become the very ground through which control is internalized, human relations are reshaped, and the erosion of agency takes place unnoticed.
